Edward Thomas Hinch, beloved husband of Elfrieda (Freddie) of Airdrie, passed away at the Agape Hospice on April 1, 2003 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 69 years.

Ed was born on March 21, 1934 in Nemiscam, Alberta. Ed worked for twenty-five years for Canada Post prior to retiring.

Besides his loving wife Elfrieda (Freddie), Ed is also survived by two sons, Randy Hinch and Robert (Paula) Hinch; and two daughters, Cori (Steve) Orosz and Carol Hinch; and two grandchildren, Brandon and Devin Orosz. He is survived by brothers, Dan (Vera) Hinch, Harry (Edie) Hinch; and a sister Alice Howard. Ed was predeceased by his parents Edward and Birdy Hinch, a sister Mary Hinch, two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law. Ed will be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and many close friends.

Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 1305 Main Street, Airdrie, AB, today, April 4, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Frank Feldmann SAC, Presider. Graveside Service at Airdrie Cemetery.
