Barbara May Lenerville, 86, of Dayton, died Sunday, May 10, 2009.

Mrs. Lenerville was born in Waukegan, Ill. On May 14, 1922, the daughter of the late Harry Stillman Badger and Florence Adair Badger. She had been a resident of Dayton since 1979. She was a member of Spivey Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting and knitting.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Norman Lenerville; two daughters, Dawn (Tom) Hudlow of Dayton and Leanne (Tracy) Steele of Daytona, Fla.; son, Brian (Shannon) Lenerville of Mount Airy, N.C.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held, Monday, May 11, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Vanderwall Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Ewing officiating. Burial will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday, May 11, after 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
