St. Clair, April 1--Corp. Russell J. Trumble, 37 was accidentally drowned at Fort Monroe, Va., Thursday, relatives here have been informed by the War department.
Corporal Trumble made his home with Mrs. Catherin Coyle before entering the Army two years ago.
He is survived by a brother, Edwin Trumble, St. Clair, and two sisters, Mrs. Roy Uppleger, Columbus, and Mrs. Marvin Green, Port Huron.
The remains will be brought to the Friederichs funeral home here.
He was buried with military honors in St. Mary's cemetery (North) St. Clair.
