Adam Boehner, 88, of West Calhoun Street, Springfield, died at 8:45am Tuesday, April 30, 1946, in Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient since April 19. He had been ill since last December.
He was born January 9, 1858, in Germany, and came to the United States in 1881.
He married Elizabeth Haseley on May 8, 1892. She died in 1937.
Mr. Boehner was a farmer for more than 35 years in the Rochester and Springfield area, retiring a number of years ago.
He is survived by a son, John; daughter, Mrs. George Wunderlich, with whom he made his home, and three grandchildren.
Remains were removed to Ellinger & Kunz Funeral Home, where services will be held at 3pm Thursday, Rev. Paul Schulz officiating. Remains may be viewed from 6 to 10pm Wednesday and Thursday until the time of service.
Burial will be in Rochester Cemetery.
