Mr. Carl Todd, Sr., 49, died Wedneday (March 3, 2004) at the V.A. Medical Center in Gainesville, FL following a extended illness.

He was a native of Waycross and resided here most of his life. He was self employed as a heavy equipment operator. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

The survivors include his wife, Lori Todd of Waycross; two sons, Alton Carl Todd, Jr. and Shawn Todd both of Waycross; a daughter, Michelle Spicer (husband Philip) of Waycross; a grandson, Brandon Spicer of Waycross his parents, Alton and Beatrice Lee Todd of Waycross; three sisters, Betty Pittman (husband Kevin) of Blackshear, Virginia Corbitt and Sandra Crews both of Waycross; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Parkway Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Music Funeral Home Friday night from 7 until 9 o'clock.
