RUBY STAGGS
Ruby "Granny" Staggs, 73, Clinton, died at 9:52 p.m. Monday, December 3, 1990, at Vermillion Convalescent Center in Clinton. She was a former Rockville resident.
Born July 16, 1917 in Grant County, she was the daughter of George and Ella Hudson Keen. She married Hasel Staggs, who died in July of 1984.
Survivors include a daughter, Alice Daves of Clinton; a son, Kenneth Staggs of Clinton; three brothers, Loyd Keen of Rockville, Roy Keen of Clinton and Harvey Keen of Terre Haute; a sister, Helen Rennick of Montezuma; and a granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol, who died in 1971.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at Barnes Mortuary in Rockville with Rev. Curtis George officiating. Burial will be in Memory Garden Cemetery at Rockville. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday).
