The city was greatly shocked on Monday morning, when death called at another Evansville home, summoning Mrs. George W. Hall, Jr., to the Great Beyond. Mrs. Hall, whose maiden name was Lida Ward, was born in DeKalb, St.
Lawrence county, New York, on October 16, 1863, being fifty-three years, four months and seven days old at the time of her death. Thirty-five years ago she unitd in marriage to George W. Hall, Jr., at Dubuque, Iowa, and to this union three children were born--two sons, Frank E. of Whitewater, and Russell C., of Evansville, and one daughter, Mrs. Grace Bruce, of this city. Besides the children, she leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, one sister, Mrs. Clara McNett of Beloit; two half-brothers, Frank Champion, of Portland Oregon and Fred Champion, of Kenosha, and a grandchild, Mark Hall Bruce. Mrs. Hall, who had been a resident of this city for thirty-five years, was
held in high esteem by all who knew her, and her passing brings sorrow to a large number of friends. She had been a member of the W. R. C. for thirty five years. Funeral services were held at her late home on Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock, being conducted by the W. R. C., and the Rev. William P. Pearce, of the Baptist church, officiating. Interment was at Maple Hill cemetery.

The above has the following errors. Her maiden name was Wood not Ward, she was born October 12 not October 16, son Russel C. should be Charles Russell, and her sister's last name should be McNitt.
