Smash Hurts Prove Fatal - Ge Dean Twilegar, 42, Spokane, died yesterday at Clarkston's Tri-State Memorial Hospital from injuries received in a truck accident on the Cloverland Grade near Asotin Monday.
His father, Harry E. Twilegar of Clarkston, was buried there yesterday afternoon. He died shortly after the accident. The two were fatally injured when their truck plunged down a 200 foot hillside.
Dean Twilegar was in Asotin County working on a road project repairing January flood damage.
Born in Riggins, he was reared in the Salmon River country. He was in the Navy in the 40s. Following his discharge from the service, he lived at White Bird, Idaho until 1951 and became a member of the P & T Drilling Co.
Survivors include his wife, four children: Randy, Kevin, Larry and Deanna Jo, and two brothers, Marvin in Japan, and Melvin in Lewiston.
Funeral services are tentatively set for Monday at 2 pm at the Merchants Chapel in Clarkston, with burial in Vineland Cemetery.
