Clarence was the first child born to James Meriwether and Eno Ophelia Dickson Logan. Sadly, this baby boy lived about 8 months. The pain of losing their first child at such a young age must have been overwhelming to his young parents.

We are so very greatful to DeeDee for finding Clarence's headstone. His stone is very old and difficult to decipher, but his name can be read to some extent. Thanks DeeDee for posting the photo.
