Clarence F. "Pop" Adreon, 83, Klamath Falls, died here on Thursday.

Mr. Adreon was born in Illinois to Thomas and Laura Adreon. He was one of nine children.

He worked for Klamath Lumber & Box Co. for 15 years before his retirement in 1964.

He served in the armed forces in World War II and was a member of the American Legion Post No. 8. He also was a member of the Oregon State Champion American Legion Drum & Bugle Corps.

Mr. Adreon was a past member of the 40 & 8.

He attended the Klamath Temple Open Bible Church.

He was an ardent outdoorsman, fisherman and huntsman. He entertained friends and relatives with his musical talents and singing ability.

Survivors include his wife Beulah to whom he was married on July 1, 1951, in Reno, Nev.

Among his other survivors are three children by his first marriage, a son Leon of Medford, and daughters, Phyllis Konrad of Keno and Carol Adreon of Phoenix; sisters, Mary Simmons of Globe, Ariz., and Elsie Koch of Belvidere, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Dick, on Jan 21, 1976 and a granddaughters.

Services will be at at 1 p.m. Monday in Davenport's Chapel of the Good Shepherd, with Pastors Ron Swanson and Art Watkins officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens with Mility honors conducted by the American Legion Post No. 8.
