Thank you to cousin, Diane Jones, for helping me solve the mystery of the death year on this headstone. Nancy did not die in 1894. She is alive and well and living with her son, John David Burks in 1900 Bartow Co GA. She drew a CSA Widow's Pension beginning in 1891 and each year through 1904. Her sworn witnesses in 1891 were G F Golden, G B Stephens, and Isaiah Sanders.
