-- FORT MILL - Mrs. Effie Ramsey Wright, 87, died Friday, June 31, 1996, at Carolinas Medical Center.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at the chapel of Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia, N.C., with the Rev. Jim Parrish officiating. Burial will be at the Hollywood Cemetery.
Born in Newport, Teen., she was retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Weslyn Methodist Church.
Surviving are her three sons, Carl L. Wright of Fort Mill, James H. Wright of Lake City, Fla., and George W. Wright of Fort Mill; two daughters, Darla W. Ash of Rock Hill and Patsy W. Arnold of Fort Mill; and 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
The family will receive friends at the home of Carl L. Wright, 1632 U.S. 21 Business, Fort Mill.
Memorials may be made to the Park Avenue Adult Day Care Center, 359 Park Ave., Rock Hill, SC 29730.
