Mr. Hubert C. Bryars:
A native of Dyas, AL. and a resident of Mobile for 40 years died Friday, January 14, 2000 in a local health care facility. Mr. Bryars was a member of Kingswood United Methodist Church, a veteran of WWII, a former employee of Brookley Air Force Base, and Clarklift of Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Florence Bryars and 1 brother, Ewing Bryars. He is survived by his wife Alice Frosh Bryars of Mobile; 1 daughter, Barbara (Jim) Darnley of Mobile; 1 son, Robert (Audie) Bryars of Milton, FL; 1 brother, Eugene (Lucille) Bryars of Mobile; 3 sisters, Ruby Phillips, Helen (Jack) Sudduth, and Orpah (Tony) Pastorcich, all of Bay Minette; 2 granddaughters, Lori (Pat) Downey of Panama City, FL. and Lisa Darnley (Eric) Cooper; 3 step grandchildren, kelly (Patty) Fisher of Chalmette, LA., Vanessa Markow of Pensacola, FL., and Brenda Fisher of Crestview, FL,; 2 great grandchildren, Mason and Morgan Downey; 1 step great granddaughter, Lauren Markow; nieces, nephews, and friends at Bay Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Monday, January 17, 2000 at 3:00 P.M. Interment will be in Pine Crest West Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements are by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 3155 Dauphin St, Mobile, AL 36606.
