Larry worked at and later owned Chaffee and Blackburn Beauty Supply Business. He also worked in Maintenance at Harper Creek School, until he retired in 2003. Larry and a friend started Southern Michigan Street Rod Association, he crewed for Fireeater Hot Air Balloon, enjoyed fishing and was avid deer hunter.
