Wilsen Retired Mail Carrier Dies At Hospital Here.
LEBANON, Sept. SO. (Spl) Grover Cleveland Alsup, 49, died In a Nashville hospital this morning following an operation.
Mr. Alsup had been In ill health since June, when he waa forced to give up a rural mail route out of Gladeville, Wilson county, after 25 years of service.
He waa a member of the Church of Christ and for many years was a leader In civic and school affairs of his community.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Llgon Funeral Home Thursday afternoon at 1 clock by Elder R. V. Cawthon. Surviving are his wife. Mrs.
Mailie Clemmons Alsup: one daughter. Mrs. Mamie Baird : six sons. Peyton, Clyde. John,
Grover, Jr, Wilson and Allle; one sister. Mrs Holt Garrett, and three brothers, Robert. Wilson and Sewell Alsup.
