Bob Baker, 83, of Beallsville, formerly of Cleveland, died Wednesday, October 31, 2007 in Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling.

He was born September 1, 1924, in Beallsville, a son of the late Ensel and Bessie Pittman Baker.

Bob was a member of the Beallsville First Christian Church and a US Army Veteran of WW II.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters: Lillian Goettel, Melba Outland, and Joan "Jose" Milhoan. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Linda Louise Jeffers Baker; twin son and daughter and their spouses: Jeffrey Lee and Brenda Baker of North Ridgeville, Ohio and Jennifer Lynn and Terry Ricer, with whom he resided; six grandchildren: Kevin, Kristin, Timothy, James, Robbie, and Tom; and five great-grandchildren: Nina, Ella, Zachary, Anneliese, and Alexander.

Visitation Saturday, November 3 from 2 to 4 PM and from 6 to 8 PM at the Harper Funeral Home.

Friends may also visit on Sunday from 1 PM until the funeral service at 2 PM at the Beallsville First Christian Church.

Burial will follow in Beallsville Cemetery with full military honors by American Legion Post #768.
