Illness of a Year Terminates Fatally. Funeral This Afternoon.
At her home, No. 208 Seigle street, where she had been in frail health for a year, Mrs. O. Sally Cochrane, wife of Mr. R. O. Chochrane, died last night at 8 o'clock. The funeral will be conducted form the residence this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock by Rev. George W. Hanna, pastor of the First Associate Reformed Presbyterian church, of which she was a consistent member.
Mrs. Cochrane was 34 years of age. Before her marriage twelve years ago in April of 1900, she was Miss Sally Adams, daughter of the late Lindsey and Harriett Adams. She is survived by her husband, three children, Warren, Earl and Dorothy; by one sister, Mrs. W. Y. Warren of Gastonia, who is very ill and is not expected to recover; and two brothers, Messrs. Wheeler Adams of Charlotte and W. V. Adams of Hutchinson, Kan. The latter will be unable to attend the funeral.
Mrs. Cochrane was a native of Charlotte, spent all her life here and was beloved by those who knew her for her estimable qualities of character. The suffering incident to her long illness with tuberculosis was borne with rare patience.
