Joe Ed Towe, three-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Towe, Mazie, died Monday morning, July 26, 1948 in the University Hospital, Oklahoma City, following a major operation. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Wagoner First Baptist church with the Rev. B. H. Elsey, pastor, officiating.
Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of the Green Funeral Home. Besides his parents, the child is survived by one brother, Lunda Huyte, and one sister, Judy Katherine; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Choate, Wagoner and Mr. and Mrs. William Towe of Mazie.
