Michael Balusik, age 62, of Swanton, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2009, at St. Luke's Hospital, Maumee. Michael was born in Toledo on March 1, 1947, to Joseph and Bette (Shelley) Balusik. He married Rose Chandler in Maumee on October 10, 1992. Mike received his business degree from Wayne State University and finished his degree from Bowling Green State University. He had worked for Ford as a tool & die maker at their Maumee facility for the past 14 years. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 16 years, Rose; children, Allen Balusik, Steven (Dawn) Balusik, Michael (Mindy) Balusik Jr., Aaron Croskey, Derina Croskey; grandchildren, Brooke, Brittany, Michaela, Raymond Jr., Anna, Mallory, Tori, Bianca; sister, Shelley (Leroy) Toms; brothers, Joe (Lori) Balusik and John (Regina) Balusik. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Jay. Friends will be received in the Neville Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland (419-865-8879) from 2-9 p.m. Wednesday where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 2009.
