Stewart Margeson, 61, a former resident of Phillipsburg, died yesterday at his home at 74 Garrison St., Newark NJ, after a long illness.
Mr. Margeson moved from Phillipsburg to Newark about 12 years ago. He was a locomotive engineer on the Lehigh Valley Railroad for the last 38 years.
A veteran of World War II, he belonged to the Veterans of Foreign War Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, the Phillipsburg Eagles Lodge, and the Jersey Hose Co., Phillipsburg.
