Nan L. Blackford, age 91, a resident of Pine Bluff, AR, formerly of Russellville, AR died Thursday, September 4, 2003 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, AR. She was born January 22, 1912 in Lamar, AR to the late Oxzias Denton Smith and Annie O'Neil Smith. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Russellville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee W. Blackford; a son, Daryl Blackford; a daughter, Fay Blackford; three sisters, Ercie Holland, Pauline Park and Lucille Grace.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Pat Blackford of Pine Bluff, AR; a sister, Laura Alverson of Dallas, TX; two grandchildren, Nelson Blackford and Tracy Dutton and three great grandchildren.
