Preceded in death by parents; son, William "Red" Berkebile; sisters, Anna Hollis, and Marguerite Miller, brother, Bernell Emerick. Survived by husband, Robert W., and these children: Robert B., married to the former Kathryn Silva, Pikefield, Tenn.; Denver W., married to the former Sandra Kring, Cherry Tree; Karen L. Pondell, Flat Rock, Mich,; James R., married to the former Susan Legawicz, Canton, Mich.; also survived by daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Berkebile, New Boston, Mich.; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Sister of Joy Wolf, Cleveland; Robert L. Stumpf, Springfield, Ore.; Joseph Emerick, Johnstown; Byron Emerick, Girard, Ohio; Donald Stumpf, Acosta; Arlie Jean Grove, Ohio. Member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Salix. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and until time of service Monday at Homer J. George Funeral Home, Salix. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Bethel United Methodist Church, the Revs. Richard Ralph and Joseph O'Kelley. Interment, Dunmyer Cemetery.
