Brother of Donald, Clearwater, Fla., Mrs. Ethel Biglen and Mrs. Ruth Brallier, both of Baltimore, Md.; Virginia, wife of Roy Hoffman, South Fork R.D.; Clarence, married to the former Eileen Burke, Alexandria R.D.; Gladys, wife of the late Henry Brennan, Salix; Irene, wife of George Plummer, with whom he resided; and Dean, married to the former Leona Petrun, Sidman; also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Retired employee of Johnstown Works, U.S. Steel Corp. Last employed at University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. Veteran of World War II, Member of St. Michael Post 551, American Legion, Adams Township Volunteer Fire Company, St. Michael: St. Michael Sportsmen's Association and Solomon Run Volunteer Firemen's Club.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Homer C. George Funeral Home, Salix where service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Harold Loveless. Interment in Dunmyer Cemetery. Graveside military rites conducted by St. Michael Post 551 American Legion.
