Bernard M. "Bernie" Krupa, 65, passed away recently at his home in Altmar, NY. He is survived by two sons, Bernie Jr. and Dewayne, and two grandchildren. He is also survived by five brothers, Ronald, Jerry, Brian, Bruce and Michael; three sisters, Joyce, Pat and Shirley; and his mother, Lillian Krupa. Bernie was a well-known contractor and builder. he was a graduate of APW High School and served in Vietnam, where he was wounded twice, receiving a Purple Heart with clusters. He also received a Military Medal of Merit, a Bronze Star, a Silver Star and a Distinguished Flying Cross. There will be no calling hours. Bernie will receive a military burial. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery. Arrangements are with Sehl Burns Funeral Service.
