A short illness resulted in the death last Thursday night, April 28 of Miss Gertrude Acker, sixty-four at the home of her cousin H. V. Skeels, 428 Florida-av.
Miss Acker had lived in Lorain about six weeks with the exception of her cousins, there are no survivors.
Funeral services were held Friday at 8 p. m. from the Royce funeral home on W. Erie-av. with the Rev. Virgil Turner officiating. The body was taken to Medina, Mich., Saturday for burial.-Lorain Times Herald.
Miss Acker formerly lived in Vermilion and was a cousin of the late Mrs. Murray Stevenson.
