Harold C. Hines, 40, widely-known farmer of near Waverly, died today at 3:15 p.m. at his home of complications following a year of illness.
He was born in Pike County, July 20, 1904, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hines.
Mr. Hines is survived by his wife, Hazel; two sons, Stanly and Melvin at home; five brothers, Harmon of Lucasville Rt. 3, Vernon, in the army in Cairo, Egypt, Frank Jr., Springfield, Delbert and Gary of Waverly Rt. 1; six sisters, Mrs. Chalmer White of Croton, Mrs. Virgil Lock of Piketon, Rt. 1, Mrs. Oren Crace of Piketon, Mrs. Harold Bryan of Portsmouth, Miss Maxine Hines and Miss Margaret Hines, both of Chillicothe.
Funeral arrangements are in charge of Gregg Funeral Home.
