Obituary:
Miss Emma Peters was born in Washington county, Nebraska, near Freemont, on August 27, 1885 where she grew to womanhood. She was married to R.A. Busskohl on September 13, 1902 and they came to Bloomfield where they have since made their home.
Seven children came to grace the home as follows: Margaret, Ranko, Henrietta, Richard, Ruth, Helen, and Herbert.
Mrs. Busskohls death came as a shock to her friends on Tuesday March 19, 1918. She leaves a husband and seven children, a father, three brothers and four sisters to mourn her departure.
The remains were taken from the home to the Methodist Church in Bloomfield, accoumpanied by a large number of friends and neighbors. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. F.E. Sala, the pastor and burial was made in the Bloomfield cemetery. Those in attendance from out of town were her father and step mother, Mr. and Mrs. John Peters of Fremont and three brothers, John, William, and Henry Peters of Fremont, Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Jessen of Orient, South Dakota, and Fred Busskohl, of Dennnison, Iowa.
The bereaved family will have the sympathy of the entire community.
