Julia Pauline Earlywine Goosey, age 82, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away at Birchwood Care Center, in Fairfield Township, Ohio, on Friday, April 17, 2009. She was born in Nicholas County, Kentucky, on January 5, 1927, to the late James Daniel and Mamie Wagoner Earlywine. Pauline was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and loved gardening, quilting and spending time with her family. On August 27, 1966, in Hamilton, she married Wilson Goosey, and he preceded her in death in November 2000.

She is survived by: two sons, Robert (Sandra) Goosey, of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, and William (Sharon) Goosey, of London, Kentucky; two daughters, Anita (Robert) Gronas, of Hamilton, Ohio, and Sandra Nieman, of Cincinnati; two sisters, Ruby Tolliver, of Millersburg, and Shirley Hadley, of Paris, Kentucky; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her first husband, Shanklin Stone; a brother, Marvin Earlywine; and three sisters, Narnie Earlywine, Thelma Frederick and Lillian Clark.

Funeral services were held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, with Reverend Jacob Flannery officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery.
