James D Breshears
Phoenix, Ariz -
James D. Breshears, raised in Napa and graduated in 1951 from Napa High School, died Saturday in a plane crash 30 miles west of Phoenix. He was 48.
Mr. Breshears, a resident of Livermore, worked for Lawrence Livermore Labs as an electrical engineer for the past 25 years.
He moved from Napa to Livermore shortly after graduation from Napa High School. He was a native of St. Louis.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Breshears of Santa Rosa; a brother, Bill Breshears of Vacaville; three sisters, Gale Thornton of Napa, Carole Parker of Santa Rosa and Lynne McCall of Oakland; and four sons, Joe, Steve, Mike and Ron Breshears, all of Livermore.
Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Thursday at the Presbyterian Church of Livermore, Fourth and K Streets. Arrangements are being handled by Livermore Mortuary.
