COVEY
Beulah Mae (Shore) Covey, youngest daughter of William and Anna Shore, was born March 16, 1912 near Russell, Iowa in Lucas County.
She passed away October 29, 1973 in the Lucas County Memorial Hospital at the age of 61 years, seven months and 13 days after almost three months in the hospital.
She was married to William Edwin Covey on August 27, 1938. To this union was born one son, Ronald Dean.
When a young girl she joined the Zion Methodist Church.
She has been employed in the housekeeping department at the Lucas County Memorial Hospital for the past five years until her health failed.
Mae was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was her pride and joy. She made many friends wherever she went.
Her parents preceded her in death.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, William; son, Ronald; daughter-in-law, Janice; two young granddaughters, Karla Kay and Kristine Sue; three sisters, Mrs. Louise Agan, Mrs. Clara Westman, and Mrs. Georgia Hubler; several nieces and nephews; a number of cousins and many friends.
Mae will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Merrill D. Summerbell, at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 31, 1973, at the Fielding Funeral Home. Interment was in the Zion Cemetery.
