A one-car accident early Sunday, November 7, 1965 has taken the lives of Michael Roy Ragain, 18, of Rt. 6, Olney and Miss Patricia Mosser of Newton.
The accident occurred at about 2:20 a.m. Sunday, eight miles south of Newton on Route 130. Ragain was apparently killed instantly. Miss Mosser died today at Richland Memorial Hospital.
According to investigating State Police, Ragain was driving north on Route 130 when the car went off the road and struck the corner of a bridge abutment.
Michael Ragain is survived by his parents, Dan Ragain and Beatrice Totten Ragain; one brother, Major Dan Ragain of East Alton; his grandmother, Mrs. Blanche Totten of Olney.
Ragain was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was a graduate of East Richland High School and was a student at Olney Central College.
Interment at Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.
