In loving memory of Elizabeth Ida (Erck) Richardson.

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Elizabeth Richardson on Sunday, May 17, 2009.

Born Elizabeth Ida Erck on March 12, 1918, near Kingsbury, Texas, she grew up in and around the Seguin and San Antonio areas. During WWII, she served her country by working at Kelly Field, and losing her first husband, Frank Rabe, in the Solomon Islands.

She later remarried and became a longtime resident of Brazoria County in the Brazosport area. She was a longtime member of Chapelwood United Methodist Church. She spent her final years at the Hill Country Care Center in Junction, Texas, in her beloved Texas Hill Country.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Fred Erck, and by her son, Fred Oscar Richardson.

She is survived by her daughters, Joyce, Louise and Ann; sons, Lester Jr., Frank and Dennis; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
