If anyone has any information about Mary's faithful lifetime friend "Mammy Chloe" or where she may have been buried please contact our family. Unfortunately, she is buried in an unmarked grave. Mammy Chloe had a son by the name of Sammy who remained in Virginia on the Bland family plantation. Sadly, many records were destroyed during the Civil War.
