Graveside services for Gladys Hawes, 95, of Lubbock will be at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday in Resthaven Memorial Park with her grandson, Bob Hawes, officiating.
Services are under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
She died Tuesday, May 30, 2000, at August Health Care in Lubbock.
She was born May 24, 1905, in Weatherford and married J.E. "Pat" Hawes Sr., in Lubbock on May 10, 1927. He died May, 1985.
She graduated from Lubbock Clinic School of Nursing in 1927 and was a registered nurse. She was a longtime Lubbock resident and member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two son, John E. Hawes Jr. of Lubbock and James Hawes of Clovis, N.M.; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
