Funeral services for James Keith Abrams, of Brookhaven, were 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 21, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel, with burial in Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation was Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Abrams, 68, died Aug. 19, 2010, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb. He was born in Mississippi on May 5, 1942, to James Milton Abrams and Ellen Logan.

He was retired after 37 years with Frito-Lay. He was a member of Union Baptist Church in Brookhaven, where he was chairman of the deacons. He was a member of the Fair River Masonic Lodge.

Preceding him in death were his parents, James and Ellen Abrams.

Survivors are his wife, Earline Russell Abrams; his sons, James Russell Abrams and wife, Teresa, and William Daryl Abrams and wife, Rhonda; his sister, Linda Powers and husband, Pete; his sister-in-law, Frankie Day, of McComb; his grandchildren, Matthew Abrams, Jessica Abrams, Georgiana Abrams and Aliza Abrams; his great-grandson, James David Abrams; and his great-granddaughter, Karlee Faye Abrams.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Baptist Church or Gideons International.
