BOYD OLIVER GOODBOE was the son of HULDA THORSON and ELI PIERRE GOODBEAU.

In 19 Dec 1936, at age 26, he married MAHALA COLE of nearby Winner, MN.

Their known children:

BOYD'S child:
5) Living Christianson

He worked at various jobs until 1938, when he purchased a farm in the Pencer area. [Probably Spencer, Aitkin Co.] They later had a farm near Warroad, where they entertained various nieces and nephews in the summers. In 1943 he became a rural mail carrier and continued until his retirement in 1977.

Boyd was active in his community, serving in various capacities with the Skine School board, the National Mail Carriers, Roseau Masonic Lodge # 268, and the Roseau Fraternal Eagles.
