DR. R. H. POOLE DIES AT HIS HOME FRIDAY NIGHT

Dr. R. H. Poole, prominent physician of Douglasville, died at his home Saturday morning. He was taken suddenly while in his office Friday night and was carried home, and he never rallied.

Dr. Poole had been a citizen of Douglasville for a number of years and was loved and honored by all who knew him. He was very quiet in his manner, ministering to those around him in trouble.

The funeral services were held at the residence on Sunday afternoon with Rev. Wills Jones and J. E. Lowery officiating.

The host of friends attending the funeral and the floral offerings were a tribute of the high esteem in which he was held. Interment was in Douglasville Cemetery.

The active pallbearers were the following nephews Messrs. Reuben Tumlin, Thomas Tumlin, Tom Picket, Hubert Baxley, Tom Poole, Billie Poole and William T. Poole.

Honorary pallbearers were the following physicians of Douglasville: Doctors Burnett, Vanzant, Houseworth, Hamilton, Stewart, O'Neal, Boyd, Nunnelly, Turk, and Paul Selman, of Atlanta.
