Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. May 10, for Arthur A. Bennett of Bowden Street, Douglasville, at the First Methodist Church of Douglasville. The Revs. Mac Whittemore and Norman Manning officiated. Interment was in the city cemetery. Mr. Bennett, 78, died May 8 and is survived by his wife, children, Donald Bennett, Mrs. Dave Padgett, and Mrs. O. T. Bolding and grandchildren. J. Cowan Whitley Co. handled arrangements.
