She was born on March 18, 1919 in Mt. Erie, Illinois to Thomas and Maude Walters.
She was retired form Walgreens with 20 years of service.
Bertha Maxine is survived by her daughter Christine Hill and husband Jack of Andalusia, IL; 3 sons Terry Moore and wife Patricia of Friendswood, TX; Charles Moore of Grandbury, TX and Tom Moore and his wife Sharon of Alvin, TX; and 1 sister Kathryn Lane of Anderson, IN. Also surviving are her 10 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Bertha Maxine was preceded in death by her parents and husband Charles G. Moore, a daughter-in-law Pam Moore, 2 grandsons, 3 brothers and 6 sisters.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 11:00AM at Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland, Texas with Dr. Bob Joiner officiating. Then on Sunday, June 28, 2009 at 2:00PM a memorial service will be held at Hosselton Funeral Home at Cisne, IL followed with burial at McKendree Cemetery at Mt. Erie, IL
Memorials may be made in Bertha Maxine's name to the Cisne Methodist Church in Cisne, IL or the Alzheimer's Association and will be accepted at Hosselton Funeral Home.
