Services for Ira H. Townsend of Brookhaven are at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 23, at the Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Easthaven Cemetery.

Townsend, 88, died April 21, 1991, at Haven Hall. A native of Lincoln County, he was the son of Robert and Rosa Bush Townsend. He was retired from the brick yard and a member of Easthaven Baptist Church.

Survivors include; daughter, Ola R. Eagen of Brookhaven; two grandchildren; three great - grandchildren.

OBIT CORRECTIONS:
1. One grandchild, Patricia Lyn Davis Arnold, married to Robbie Wilfred Arnold.

2. Two great grandchildren, Cathy Lyn Arnold, and Jackie Ann Arnold

3. Also preceded in death by his youngest daughter Viola Katherine Townsend Davis Cummings
