Services for Jimmie W. Albright, 80, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Sanders Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dean Harris of Central Baptist Church officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.

He died Saturday, April 08, 2000, in the Lubbock Hospitality House.

He was born on July 22, 1919, in Broadway. He moved to Lubbock in 1941 and married Margie Tew on Nov. 18, 1941, in Brownfield. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a mechanic at Louthan Dowell, University Dodge and Fenner Tubbs Co. After retiring he worked as a greeter for Wal-Mart at the South Quaker store. He was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Jimmy of St. Joseph, Mo., Tommy of Hurst and Jerry of Plainview; a daughter, Cindy Bean of Crowley; a brother, C.R. Albright of Irving; three sisters, Bonnie Webb of Lubbock, Ethel Gregg of Sulphur Springs and Pauline Brown of Idalou; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
