They had ten known children, Elizabeth Causey Clark, Frances "Fannie" Causey Phillips, Mary Causey Belcher, Mathilda Ann, Sherrod, Sarah, John, Allen, Ezekiel Jr., and Israel. I have not found proof of the order in which they were born. I do know that my family history says that Israel was born in N.C. Some sources say he was born in Buncombe Co. but I have found no proof of it.
"Early Inhabitants of Jefferson County, Georgia" Published by MLH Research, 1997. This source states that Ezekiel Causey was a Revolutionary soldier and that he drew land in Carroll County in the 1827 Georgia Land Lottery. His son, Israel went to Carroll Co. Ga and was a supervisor at the Villa Rica mines. He also built a house on Maxham Rd in Austell that is still standing and that is now on the National Register of Historic Places.
I am descended from Ezekiel's son, Israel, through his first child, Celia Ann Elizabeth by his first wife, Susannah Cowart. Hello to all of my distant cousins who have left flowers on this page. :)
