Mr. Bratton, 73, died June 25, 2003, at his residence. He was born in Toccopola on Feb. 11, 1930, to Doyle Winfred Bratton and Velver Alendar Bratton.
He was a retired well-known businessman in Lincoln County. He was an Air Force veteran.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a daughter, Dawn Bratton; and a grandson, Kevin Clark.
Survivors are his wife, Alma Gosselin Bratton of Brookhaven; his sons, Doyle Bratton and Danny Boone, both of Brookhaven; his daughters, Cindy Bratton Powell of Monticello, Barbara Clark of Florence, and Vicky Blalock of Broken Arrow, Okla.; his sisters, Elizabeth Yarbrough and Lynn Smith, both of Jackson, and Cork Henson of Pickens; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
