He was a native of Jacksonville, Florida and a resident of Richmond Hill most of his life. He was the owner of Southern Star Engineering Consultants and a member of Daniel Baptist Church.

Funeral: 3 p.m. Thursday at Carter Funeral Home, Bryan Chapel with burial in Richmond Hill First Baptist Church Cemetery.
