Bloomfield. They farmed in the Bloomfield area until moving to Norfolk in 1956.
In Norfolk, Mrs. Rieckmann assisted her husband in management of the Capri Motel for a number of years and was also employed at Norfolk Regional Center. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and its Ladies' Aid , also was active in Braille work at the church ad was a member of the Over 60 Club there.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Bonita) Gangstad of Fairmont, Nebraska; two grandchildren, Christian and Scott; and two brothers, Arnold Walters of Lincoln and Cecil Walters of Sioux Falls, S.D.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Oct 25,1969, one brother, Milo, and an infant son in 1947.
