BENJAMIN STOCKDALE
Mrs. William Hampson of MC 22, Salem, has received word that her father, Benjamin Stockdale, 82, died Thursday in Oklahoma City, Okla., where funeral service and burial were held.
Besides Mrs. Hampson, he is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Carl Davis, and two sons, Harry and Carl, all of East Liverpool.
His wife, Irena Bennett Stockdale, died in 1947.

His first wife was Irena Sutherland Stockdale. From this marriage were sons Carl F Stockdale and Harry N Stockdale and two daughters, Margaret Ruth and Ina Louise. They also had a son who died in at a very young age.
Bennie is buried next to step-son, Gladwyn "Lee" Whitaker who was the son of his second wife, Ethel Mackey Whitaker Stockdale. Ethel & her first husband, Walter "Jerry" Whitaker had another son, Joy Worthington Whitaker.
Bennie and Ethel had no children.
There is no marker.
