Kenneth Wayne CUNNINGHAM Passed away June 15th, 2007. He was born in Litchfield, Nebraska in 1922. He taught school in a one-room schoolhouse before going into the Navy during World War II. He married Margaret Kardaras of Chicago and started a family in Oroville, WA. He owned a "mom & pop" store, became an orchard foreman, received his pilot license, then worked for the Boeing Co. from 1956 to 1993 (37 years). Ken served the community as a Scout Master for troop 406 and earned his teaching degree at the University of Washington in 1973. Ken was preceded in death by 2 brother, 2 sisters and 1 daughter. He is survived by his wife of 62 years; 5 children; 1 brother, Gerald of Spokane; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service is being held at Marlatt's in Kent on Saturday, June 23 at noon.
