Served in the Quartermaster Corps, 3rd Army during World War II, Battle of the Bulge. He received the Bronze Star after rescuing a fallen soldier.
Visitation at the Pedersen-Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York Rd, Elmhurst, Friday, Aug. 3, 2007, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Prayers 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at the funeral home to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
