Mass Friday for Pioneer Woman

Requiem mass for Mrs. Elizabeth Faulkner, 72, of 2013 N. Fulton Ave., longtime Tulsan who died in a hospital Wednesday after a three year illness, will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic church.

Interment will be in Calvary cemetery under direction of the Whisenhunts Funeral home. A rosary will be recited by the St. Peter & Paul Women's club at 8 tonight in the Whisenhunts chapel.

Mrs. Faulkner, a native of Fayetteville, Ark., came to the Tulsa area more then 50 years ago, settling at Dawson. She was the widow of Felix G. Faulkner, strip miner, engineer & farmer who died in 1934.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. C. E. (Elizabeth) Miller, 5521 E. Ute St.; Mrs. M. R. (Goldie) Coatney, Okmulgee; and Mrs. M. D. (Bertha) Birchfield, Collinsville; two sons, Felix Faulkner, 716 N. Norfolk Ave.; and Joe Faulkner, San Diego; two sisters, Mrs. Kate McLaughlin, 5806 E. Tecumseh St.; and Mrs. Clemine Ames, Bokchito; a brother, James O'Brien, 2104 N. Erie Ave.; 15 grandchildren & 11 great-grandchildren.
