Known as "Quick Draw Rick McGraw", he began his wrestling career in 1976 for the NWA in Florida. He later wrestled in the WWF (now WWE) mostly as a preliminary fan favorite. He was one half of the popular tag team known as the Carolina Connection, and later he formed a tag team with Andre the Giant. His championship titles included the NWA Alabama State Heavyweight, Canadian International tag team, WWA tag team, and All Star Wrestling Tag Team.
